I have been teaching and riding dressage since the 1990’s, sometimes as a bit of a maverick, since I have ALWAYS loved artistic riding and exhibition. My passion for Iberian horses lends naturally to this inclination, and I have combined showing Andalusians, Competition Dressage, Western Dressage, Exhibition Riding and Freestyle for a very satisfying career. I have My USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals, and am a 5 time Western Dressage Freestyle Champion, so I have demonstrated a technical proficiency which serves well in the creation of your freestyle. Just as importantly, my freestyles have won awards for their creativity and the interpretation of many different musical styles. Let me put my expertise to work for you to create a freestyle that uniquely expresses the partnership you and your horse share, and that will WOW the Judge and the Audience when you perform it!

In 1995 I moved to the United States and I have been judging since 2004 as a USDF L graduate and now as a USEF R in Western Dressage.  I hold an International MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, and I am an accomplished show manager and have managed numerous Regional Championships in Colorado and Utah. As president of the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society, Pikes Peak Dressage Society, and the Colorado Springs Dressage Association, I have had the privilege to introduce many new ideas and shape these organizations into what they are today. I am a certified instructor with the RMS Classical Riding Academy in Germany, and an avid student of Science of Motion and Ride from Within.  My riding and teaching techniques are based on my continued study and thorough understanding of biomechanics.

If you had asked me when I was 6 years old what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have told you I wanted to be a famous singer and an Olympic rider. You might have chuckled then, but who could have imagined that I'd be sitting here today doing (almost) exactly that! I haven't made it to the Olympics (yet), but my work with Equestrian Freestyle is a childhood dream manifested into adulthood reality. I started riding at the age of 8 and have never stopped. My career as a musician follows a similar path. I have a Masters in Music and a Masters in Business Administration, and I am active as a professional musician, composer, music producer, and teacher. Having the opportunity to bring my two greatest passions together is truly a dream come true, and I am honored to bring my best creative work to each and every client. After all, its YOU who gives me the opportunity to do the two things I love most; Music & Horses!
